Recovery

From NoovexOS, the free NoovexOS encyclopedia

The NoovexOS recovery environment is a minimal boot-time menu shown when the system cannot start normally, or when it is requested manually at boot. It allows the user to continue booting, enable developer mode, restart, power off, or reset all settings.

Select how you'd like to recover. Choose an option, or press Ctrl+D for Developer Mode.

System won't boot?

  1. Scan the QR code with your phone to visit the NoovexOS website for recovery instructions.
  2. Try "Continue to NoovexOS" above — the recovery kernel may auto-repair filesystem errors.
  3. If your PC crashes during boot, select "Developer Mode" to disable signature verification and boot with verbose logging.
  4. As a last resort, "Reset all settings" preserves your files but resets system configuration to defaults.
